FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA (March 13, 2019) – On Thursday, March 14, 2019, The Watson Firm, a personal injury law firm located in Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach, Florida, will announce a lawsuit against Okaloosa County School Board on behalf of their client, a seven-year-old student attending Shalimar Elementary School.
The lawsuit alleges that the School Board was negligent in supervising students in a first-grade class room. Specifically, the complaint alleges that a seven-year-old male student was the subject of sexual bullying in which he was coerced into a school restroom and forced to engage in sexual acts, with two other students, including sexual intercourse. The incident allegedly occurred in a restroom located inside of a first-grade class room while the teacher was present inside the classroom.
