On Sunday, January 14th, Attorney Aaron Watson delivered the keynote speech for the annual community Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Watson delivered the speech to a packed house at the St. Beulah Baptist Church in Fort Walton. During his speech, Attorney Watson spoke about Dr. Martin Luther King's dream and the importance of putting words into action.
Watson said, “I’m thankful for the dream, but I’m even more thankful he got out of bed after the dream." Watson encouraged the audience to dream big dreams, but also to put action behind their dreams.
The event was attended by several dignitaries and social organizations in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, including political candidates and elected officials. Watson concluded his speech by telling the crowd to get out of bed and pursue their dreams. The audience rose to a standing ovation as attorney Watson exited the stage.
